Twenty One Pilots przegrali w czterech z pięciu kategorii. W końcu jednak udało im się zdobyć statuetkę za Stressed Out w kategorii Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (Najlepszy Występ Duetu/Grupy). Nagrodę wręczył im Nick Jonas.

Tyler i Josh postanowili odebrać nagrodę… bez spodni. W swojej przemowie Tyler opowiadał, że zanim zespół stał się sławny, siedział z Joshem w pokoju hotelowym i oglądali rozdanie nagród w bieliźnie. Wtedy obiecali sobie, że jak już zdobędą nagrodę, odbiorą ją w samych majtkach.
